Happy 50th Birthday Momma! 12/12/08

We all took the day off for Mom's 50th Birthday. We went to The Varsity for lunch and then to the Atlanta Civic Center to see the King Tut exhibit. It was the first time that the exhibit had been in the U.S. since mom saw it New Orleans in the 70's. It was incredible. We got to see things that were thousands of years old!
We went to Third Coast Grill for crab and conch fritters!

Mom was opening her gift from Lisa. It was a personalized rubber ducky that Lisa had dressed in flip flops, a visor, and a necklace with a picture of Mom and Lisa on their vacation to Boston this past summer. It was great!

Brandon and I ordered Mom a cake from Trump's where we had our wedding reception. Mom has always gushed about how great the cake tasted so Trump's offered to "just-this-once" make a birthday cake. It turned out beautiful and tasted even better!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMA!
