Spring in NYC!
I flew up and met Brandon in New York after he was done with another two week stint in Hartford. We were there for almost 5 days. It was my second time and Brandon's first in NYC. We played tourist, ate at some great restaurants, saw two shows, and enjoyed Easter and the beautiful weather!
Christ Church United Methodist Church on Park Avenue - This is where we went to service on Easter morning. They had a full orchestra and a choir that sounded like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. It was an amazing experience.
On Monday morning, we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge.
We went to the Intrepid Sea & Air Museum that is parked right off of Midtown Manhattan. It was an active aircraft carrier until the late 1970's and now it is a museum with at least a dozen war planes, a submarine, and a retired British Airways Concorde plane onboard. I'd definitely recommend it! Very cool.
